TreeTops Animal Rescue is not a specific place - it is a network of people who volunteer their time and homes to save the lives of animals in need who were abandoned, surrendered, or lost. We do not have a shelter or office to visit because all our animals live with families in foster homes. Volunteers from TreeTops in Southeastern PA are spread throughout the area surrounding southern Chester County as well as in nearby areas in DE and MD. All our volunteers are dedicated to finding good forever homes for our wonderful foster pets and educating the public about how much joy a rescued dog or cat can bring to your life.
Every month we schedule MEET & GREET events where you can come to meet some of our foster animals and volunteers, find out about other TreeTops cats & dogs, and get information about adopting or volunteering (pictures of past events are here). Please keep in mind that pets CANNOT be adopted at this event, since all adoptions must go through our adoption process.

First Annual SAVE THE MUMMERS AND MUTTS Event.

EVENT MISSION STATEMENT
This event is an opportunity for many communities to come together to help out two charitable causes in need. The Philadelphia Mummers parade is a 110 year-old Philadelphia-based tradition that needs help to keep the tradition of making us smile and laugh every New Year’s Day. TreeTops Animal Rescue saves animals from overcrowded shelters, some of which will be euthanized if not adopted, and provides vet expenses, food, etc. Without support and public awareness of rescues in general, these animals cannot be saved. Our hope for this event is to spread awareness to these two distinctive organizations.
Although this event is not based in our location community, we hope to spread awareness of all rescues, no matter where they are located. This is a wonderful opportunity to educate everyone about the alternatives to pet stores and commercial breeders, and to show them how many truly wonderful animals end up neglected, abused, or abandoned and desperately in need of homes.
All the politicians and sports teams have been invited. Radio, TV, Newspapers and internet coverage is scheduled to promote this event before and the day of the event. A Facebook page has also been created to post the event’s business donators and rescues that will be present, the day of the event, as well as other info.

We need foster care-givers as well as vounteers to help with events, public relations, fundraising, applications, records, and the website. Mission Statement
Our mission is to rescue adoptable lost, abandoned, or surrendered animals; to supply needed care and medical attention including being spayed/neutered; to provide them with re-socialization in foster homes; and to place them in permanent adoptive homes where they will be loved and properly cared for.
Vision Statement
At TreeTops Animal Rescue, we believe that all living creatures deserve to be treated with consideration and respect. All of our rescue animals will be treated as if they are family. All applicants, owners, and shelter personnel will be treated with common courtesy. And all volunteers and the staff of cooperating agencies or offices will be treated with full appreciation for their help.
